Okay, so you've decided to join a club and you've stumbled on us, but don't know what we're about. So we're here to help you out. If you've ever seen a game of Jeopardy!, that's basically what we do. We've got two teams of 4 trying to out-buzz each other and answer each question right. The questions range in difficulty depending on the tournament, and cover subject areas ranging from history to literature to fine arts to chemistry and even to sports. If you're interested in question specifics or just want a head start, please check out our Study Materials page. There's something for everyone, and if you enjoy trivia or any sort of competition, we invite you to join us every Tuesday after school in room 506 (Mr. Astri's Classroom) until 5 p.m., though you can leave earlier. We practice question sets with buzzers and keep score, just like we would in a tournament, so you can see how you like it. Hope to See You There!
We're pretty laid-back about whether you show up to every meeting (though you should; we always have refreshments -- donuts, cookies, soda, you name it, we got it) or tournament, although we have one club requirement: you MUST show up to our annual quizbowl tournament to help out, whether it be reading questions, helping out in the "war room", or just helping out in general (there are always things to be done).
